I don't play the bass, but I'd love to do a musical collaboration sometime. Or at least get coffee and see where things go. 

I kinda have the same problem you have - I'll do something for a month, get decent at it, then drop it for something else. Right now I'm learning Javascript and making a board game. In a month? Who knows?
